So here I am 58 yrs old and doing the one ting I swore I would never do...Buy a Jet Ski.
Went out last week and got myself a new GTI SE 155 SeaDoo and took it out with mates and their ski's the following Saturday for a ride down to the Jumpin Pin and it was a good ride. But coming back was murder as ever boat in Queensland was on the water and churning up waves which gave me one heck of a bumpy ride and I was totally over it. I was sun and wind burned beyond belief.
Next day (Sunday) we had all arranged to go to Atkinsons Dam for the day and it is a very nice place.
Every body and their dog tried out my new ski and gave the thumbs up on it, until I gave one little friend a ride and all every thing went belly up.
He wanted to drive it and I stupidly allowed him to. So I put him in control and sat behind him with the key attached to my vest and told him to gun the engine but he kept taking it to 40klms and then backed off. Told him not to do this but he kept doing it until he stopped, turned the machine to the right and leaned over.......2 day old and the ski is belly up in the water.
Affter flipping it back over we are still in the water and he says " Can I drive it back"
