Yeah those little LC/LJ's were pretty lethal in the wet (so is any decent V8). Mine used to chirp 3rd too (just) with an M21 box.

The Calais was worse. It was gd in the wet to a point. Tyres were gd but once over 3700rpm, u couldn't always tell when it wanted 2 go......
Once, this woman in front of me was crawling.....kept speedin up when I could pass her. After a while I decided to pass on the next opportunity, give it all it had. The look on her face was priceless as I passed her sideways in 2nd on a dry rd (no bulls**t). That was with a 3.08 lsd. Car was runnin mid 14's at the time.

Hey that's a sweet lookin XA GT. I'm spewin I sold my XU-1 (6yrs ago). It was manderin colour. It was in bits but if I'd kept it, it'd b a weapon now. Value??? like ya GT........

That LJ 2 door in your avitar looks nice. I still have a soft spot for those little things. I've had 6 LJ's & 2 LC's, 1 of which was a GTR XU-1.
