Looks like they've backed the wake into a pontoon, & it stuck on . Makes it look ugly . Is that the ballast tank or just a platform?

I like the look of the GTI SE & the RXT-X

Got to be Ballast tanks. A picture further down the page doesn't show them. Typcial trick to increase the wake size, but if there going to do that, buy a wake boarding boat. Otherwise, a fat person or two as spotters works fine.

    Toybreaker, thanks for the flicks...
That ugly grey thing on the wake has to be ballast.
They could have designed it a bit better than what we see in the photo
Somehow to me, the colour grey does'nt conjure up thrills and excitement.
It will be interesting to see the 'fleet' colours.

They could have made it a 2nd fuel tank, might make 4 more appeal???

The best wakes I've seen were created by a V shaped hull sitting lower into the water, not a flat bottomed flat back ended portable pontoon. That'd just make it more stable for standing on. Go with a fat arse spotter!!! 220lbs is only 100kg, unless I worked it out wrong. Given that this country requires that a spotter be employed when towing then add the weight of the average skipper, spotter, wakeboarder with water drag & 220lbs of water, that ski would wanna HAUL SOME ASS!

    HMMMM.....
Normal ski rebuild after 250hrs for eg
    Wake ski rebuild after 100hrs

HUH?!.......WHAT?!.........I CAN'T HEAR U, MY SKI IS PINGIN IT'S NUTS OFF!
