I think the yamaha VX's would be the go as well. At least with the 700, if someone fills it up it could be gotten going again relatively inexpensive (have heard those engines are almost bulletproof). The 110's seem to go forever if looked after decently (have read reports of over 1000 hrs on engines from hire companies).

Im looking to buy a Jet Ski.
I came accross a 2002 Kawasaki 130 Ultra DI with 55hours. The guy wanted $6500 and I negotiated the price to $5500. Are the Kawasaki' 130 Ultra DI decent Jet Skis? Can they tackle the surf well, Wave Jumping? as well as speed on flatter surfaces?
Being a 2002 model, does this series have a problem with cracking hulls when taken to surf conditions?
There is another Jet Ski, a Yamaha GP1200 2002 mod with 105 hours for sale for 5k, which is the better buy? And a better all rounder?
A Jet Ski mechanic told me the yamaha is a bit quicker, but expensive for repairs, and the kawasaki is a touch slower, but very reliable.. true or false?
