Thread: Modify RXT-X intake grid

I have heard by making a small modification to the intake grid on an RXT-X it can give you more performance and speed. I am looking at doing this to mine but am unsure on how, I am hoping someone could help me by posting some info and pics on this site or can email to ncaumobile@hotmail.com

Piece of cake, chop the top piece of the intake grate completly off. If you get under your ski & have a look at the grate you will see a deflector plate that extends above the top of the grate - lop it of level with the main rails of the grate. I had photos of mine but I must have deleted them. I will see if I can get a photo of mine installed in the ski.

This mod works a treat for hook up. For the 09 RXT-X's this mod came standard.
