    Angry PWC Performance Parts

    Hey guys!!
just wanted to make everyone aware of the problems i am having with pwc performance parts and i would hate it to happen to anyone else!!
i ordered some parts for my kawasaki ultra260x on the 25th november and deposited just over 900 dollars in the account as asked. i was continually told the parts were on there way.. well after a month i cancelled the order and was told i would get my money back... the money has not been returned and after numerous phone calls and email (of which i only received a couple of replies to the emails and no answer to the phone calls) i was told it had been refunded.. after explaining it wasnt i then was asked for my bank details again and told it would be done straight away.. i still have recieved nothing so i am now having to do it all through consumer affairs(protection).. it is hard because they are in sydney and i am in perth, so be very wary of this company. unfortuanately i put a friend on to this company as well and he also recieved promises for when parts would arrive and he too has received nothing also!!!
sorry to have to bitch but this is things that i believe you guys should know!!

    Hey Scott,

As has been said I'm sorry it took a few weeks to organsie the OEM gear. When you cancelled the gear had already been payed for OS. In all we had over 100 orders in the few weeks leading up to christmas and were just blown away by the number. In total six orders other than yours were cancelled after a few weeks of waiting. All OEM parts. If it were just yours etc we could probably re-imburse you directly but as there were a few you could imagine that we cannot reach into our pocket to do this and it has to come from OS. As it is nights are 11pm until 4-5am sorting things out trying as fast as possible. I have apologised before due to number 1 the delay in getting the parts over christmas and 2 sorting out the refund. There is another who has been waiting a few weeks , we'll get this sorted asap.

I have dealt with PPPOZ on a few occasions and it has been a pleasure doing business with him. Sourcing parts from OS especially OEM stuff takes time not to mention around Christmas. Interesting to note the tone of Steve's reply (decent and honest) compared to the guns blazing opening salvo. Trust me Scott, PPPOZ is no scammer! If you expect better service (and pricing) elsewhere,......good luck.

    Cheers

    Thanks Chris,

Christmas and the month or so leading up to it was pretty hectic. Just trying to get everything sorted asap while still dealing with current orders etc. It does sadden me a little when I hear the word 'scammer' etc as just trying to help out the average joe on parts and prices as we all know that used to be a rarity

    Hey Scotty,

We're sorting your's out this week mate. I know I told you we'd have to source it from our account and will still have to do that. We've had dramas with a couple of other OEM orders and just trying to get everything sorted in a timely manner. It's just a big drama for us and I don't think people realise when we confirm an order and are waiting then it's cancelled we're pretty much screwed because it's not like we are a big Kawi dealer or other massive shop that can store the gear until it sells. Just throws a spanner in the works and especially with a few cancellations just before Christmas!

Thanks for your patience I do understand where your at just trying to recoup a little bit from OS. Just curious did you end up paying more OS? Regardless glad to see you got back on the water for summer!

I think I should chime in here.

The festive season has/does really slow things up delivery wise for everyone. If one wants the parts ASAP, then one way is to high-light this at the time, so they can be forwarded by speedier methods.

I myself have been sat here for 8 weeks now for my EMS (Franko Dettori) and Rotax Racing Manifolds, and as yet, nothing has appeared.... and at nearly $9000.00, I get a little nervous too, so I understand, but sometimes one has to be fair. By the way, I ordered it myself through my own means, so no matter who or how, it could well be delayed.
PPPOZ do not hold parts, this is why they can do such a low price. This is why we jump on the wagon, but sometimes it is swings and round-abouts we all have to endure.

November is 30 days long however, given the 6 weeks we could look at, but can also look like 10 weeks too.!

I waited 5 weeks for a cylinder re-bore to get to me from within Australia, it got here last Friday!!

I send my parts to people ex stock if I have them, and generally is delivered in less than one week.

This is all about cost at the end, and I wonder if the purchaser would have bought at 25% higher if he has it there within a week, or paid extra for PH delivery.

    C'mon guys.
