Angry PWC Performance Parts Australia part 2

Hey guys... following the last thread which had a stop put on it because it started having personal attacks on it i am hoping this can be left open because i believe it is fair for everyone to know both sides of the story whithout getting personal!!! so please if anyone comments lets not attack each other,

where my situation stands is steve said he would have my money refunded this week and again it has not happened and i am getting really frustrated about it... the last thing i have wanted to do and have expressed to him is involve consumer protection but he is leaving me no choice.. i just keep gettin hollow promises..

now to answering your question steve, did i pay more for the parts in the end... yes i paid 60 dollars more but i had them here from the states in 4 days during the christmas rush... they arrived christmas eve!!

    Scotty

Only from an ill informed angle, the request does sound fair, and I have to say this... The customer is always correct.

Sometimes it's not how much you pay, it's if you get the desired result in the end.

Maybe a PM to SR20Lux stating the facts as you see them, and allow him to contact PPPOZ for a reply may be a good Idea, am sure SR20Lux will work toward a good conclusion for you.

Sometimes, it is because 2 people differ, a good conclusion can be hard to obtain, but, with a little mediation, It will come to a conclusion.

I would like to add that I have no legience toward either party regarding this problem, but it would be good to see a amicable solution, in a timely manner.

sounds like you have given the bloke plenty of chances to pay you back the monies your owed. i would get hold of the credit reporting agenc y(Veda advantage) and get it filed as a default of non payment on his buisness and personal credit files and maybe that might make him pay more quickly. you have to be able to legal prove it first but. or the other alternative is to get the consumer affiars involved

Unfortunately consumer affairs/fair trading have no authority to demand money. They can only contact the business in question and suggest/arrive a at solution. I've personally been in contact the department of fair trading whom have also talked to Steve about the mater, he told them that a refund would be forth coming ASAP yet it has not.

The only legal avenue is small claims court, which involves a cost on the claimant's behalf initially. It's self represented for such maters. I really hope it doesn't have to come to this but I wonder, how long does one wait?

I'm another one. $3,000 for parts, ordered on September 21st, I was told 1 week to get everything. I waited 4 weeks, then the lies started. In november i was told all parts would be here by christmas day. Still nothing showed up. On the 26th of December i asked for the parts or a refund. He told me that all money would be refunded ASAP. It's now the 27th of Feb and still i have nothing. He hasn't returned an e-mail or phone call for over 6 weeks. I have about 30 e-mails from him....telling me next week, next week etc. I've watched this thread for 3 months, and seen some people defend his actions. So tell me, is 5 months long enough to wait for parts or a refund??. I have started legal proceedings, he never even returned Q-CAT's e-mails and phone calls for mediation. So this will be progressing to court. I find it disappointing that this "bloke" can even post on this forum as i have found some interesting stuff on it. But in saying that, i think i might post the e-mails that me and this "bloke" shared. Then everyone can make up their own minds. Owning a jetski has been great, BUT my dealings with this bloke has soured me to the point that I'm selling me ski and want no futher part in this. All I wanted to do was do my ski up, all i got was $3,000 out of pocket and now still spending good money to chase what is still owing to me. I DON"T KNOW HOW THIS BLOKE IS STILL DOING HIS BUSINESS. As Josh said, lets see how many more reply.

    Cheers, Dave
