I posted this on another site and haven't received any advice, so I thought I would try my luck locally as well!!!

I can't wait to finally get my 1st ski and get out there with you guys when you decide to do your next social ride

Theres only so much watching you can do from the shore

Jet ski trailer - what features should I look for - Yesterday, 09:36 PM



Hey all,

I'm about to import a jet ski from the US, which means I need to start thinking about buying a jet ski trailer for it (brand new)

Being my first ever ski, I would appreciate your thoughts as to what features you think I should be looking for in a trailer?

The ski will be a FX SHO - 3 seater, 3.37m long, dry weight of 376 kg's).

I've decided to get a trailer with rollers, but is there any other little tips you can provide or things I should look for or ask for on the trailer?

Are plastic wheel arches or metal arches better and why?
Should I go with the swing up jockey wheel?
Bearing buddies - yes/no?
Tyre size?
Should I ask for a rail/plank to walk down the trailer to retrieve the ski?

Let me know from your personal experiences what you would look for if buying another trailer.
