    KOR or Wacky Races?

    Remember Wacky Races and the characters, well who do you reckon is most like the cartoon characters, I have made some suggestions to get you started;

Dick Dastardly and Muttley in the Mean Machine - pottsy & shoof
The Slag Brothers in the Bouldermobile - toybreaker
The Gruesome Twosome in the Creepy Coupe - Harry & Larry
Professor Pat Pending in the Convert-a-Car - captain_morgan
Red Max in the Crimson Haybailer - Gary
Penelope Pitstop in the Compact Pussycat - jet-ski chic
Sergeant Blast and Private Meekly in the Army Surplus Special - Jaggsy & thommo
The Ant Hill Mob in the Bulletproof Bomb - wangers
Lazy Luke and Blubber Bear in the Arkansas Chuggabug - bearded_shark
Peter Perfect in the Turbo Terrific - Mastacks
Rufus Ruffcut and Sawtooth in the Buzz Wagon - chookc & slasher

    Just a bit of fun
    Cheers

Boy what a day... just finished packing away ski's.

So sorry TB but you needed a new sponson anyway thats the reason you kept coming off....

Would be good to see brett out there on an xpl as he can ride the thing.. Just did a little too much drifting thru that corner..

Let me know if that sponson is fully stuffed I can cut you out a set of beach house blades if the backing plate is still good..

Big thanks to the Marshals and scorers today in terrible conditions..

Shame so many talked up the KOR and then pulled the pin at the last minute. But seemed like a day for ski troubles.

    Till the next one...

    Dear Diary....

Big thanks to all that helped me today. Especially Mark and Kelv, never thought we'd be showering together boys. Also to Baz for coming to reverse the ski in the garage, Viv still hasn't got the hang of that yet.

Visited RP Hospital, had several xrays, thankfully nothing seems broken. Left wearing leg splint on crutches with appointment with injury clinic and MRI for Thursday. Suspected ruptered knee ligament Ahh well I guess that's racing, no worries Clint, but when the legs better your arse is mine

Well done to all today especially Mel who I hear participated in the KOR, good on ya. Haven't seen my ski yet, but I hear Clint took a lump out his hull... ouch.

Now who the fu**s got ma goggles, only just got the buggers back from Causeway last week

It was a good day - if not a little testing of the spirit. A big thank you should go out to everyone who turned up and escpecially, Craig, Kelvin, Alan and Amanda for their organisation and determination in setting up the event in such inhospitable (that was inhospitable NOT inhospital - Jagsy!) conditions.

Get well soon mate, at least it was just your leg, you've still got your good looks. Every cloud has a silver lining, you said you were considering a new paint job - now's your chance. As you're gonna be laid up for a while, do you want me to send some DVDs over, these titles might be of interest; "Low Impact Workout For Seniors by Judi Dench); "Sucessful Jet-Ski Racing by Cdoo Clint"; "Life After Disaster - Fred West"; "The Wacky Races - Hannah Barbera" - just let me know, I can drop them round!
    Cheers

Jagsy i am very happy to hear your ok. And don't you worry, i'll be staying as far away from you as i can when you return too racing. (hopefully in front of you, but you never know, you are a good racer now you have a race ski)

Yes, there is a large hole in my ski. cracked thru the glass a bit too.

i was in the air when impact hit, so the damage is under my ski, in a bit of a shit spot. But i guess thats what insurance is for..... Or Fridays expertise..... he did a very nice job on magoos ski....
