Hi Crew,
Its almost that time of the year where we all celebrate what we know best … Being an Aussie.. Australia Day ..

This year JET SPORT WEST has been invited again to celebrate this day..

On the 26th January JSW will being running a Flag Run around the Swan River at the Sky Show in front of 1000`s of people , but this year we will be carrying 25 Aussie flags to Celebrate 25 years of Sky Show ..


All you need is a Jet Ski a pillion passenger to hold the flag and a full tank of fuel, we will be meeting and based at Trinity Collage reserve (Of Trinity Ave) so if you are attending the day you can camp at the Reserve with your family and watch the show …

There will be a practice run 1 week before on the 18th January …

I also need 4 marshal skis which can also be part of the flag run, but will be needed for the JSW Demo Race which is held every year …

The demo is 4 laps of the river as per attachment but we will also run this for the flag run. The riders attending the Demo can also be part of the flag run..

2 classes for the Demo . 2 stroke and 4 stroke and may be pole skis pending what time we are allocated

Hi Crew,
To all attending the Sky Show event 26th January 2009 Australia Day.


Practice for Flag run will be on the 18th January Sunday , meeting at the Narrows PWC area 9.30am sharp and print out the map and bring it with you …

Make sure you are there early as parking may be a problem.


On Australia day make sure that you are there by 4pm sharp so we can get everything set up …



If your family is coming to watch the sky show , please ask them to park on Trinity Ave, however all riders can park on the Reserve with there trailer so you can bring as many people as you like in that vehicle ..

We will be next to the police, which means that there will be no idiots around us and the area is reserved to JSW Members …

South Perth requires all Rego`s of all vehicles parking on the oval with trailers for security reason, can everyone e-mail their Rego`s so I can send it to them …e-mail them to me

Without Rego`s , no entry as we are located next to the police ..

Make sure you have a full tank of fuel and heaps of water and shade as it has been hot in previous years.


There is a race fee of $50 per rider attending in the PWC Demo Race , free for Flag Riders and Marshall skis.

Can all Marshal Skis please confirm their availability (4 required) …



We will be running 4 laps this year and Trophies will be handed out on a latter date with your names engraved, at the moment it looks like we will be running a 2 stroke open class and a 4 stroke open class .Both will run together and the 2 strokes will be let of first followed by the 4 strokes…


Also it’s the turn of the New Year. Please ensure you have your membership form filled in and your $50 for your yearly membership fee.


PLEASE PRINT A COPY OF THE MAP AND BRING IT WITH YOU ON THE DAY see attachment for upgraded map ….
