Hooray!!!!! Someone who agrees with me! Heres hoping next time we can have a track that needs more than 4 buoys and isn't just a big circle. Hopefully we can do a few more laps next time, would like to ache after the race from something other than just my cramp!

i know i think we should do more laps so you can get the feel of the race and gives you more time to pass 4 laps of that track was not enough

I would assume the race boss’s have to design the tracks to cater for poley’s, sports boats, 800’s,,& the 2 & 3 seater Queen mary’s
And I’ve really enjoyed the last couple of tracks we’ve had
    Tight stuff
longer straight or 2 with chicane turns
    wide arc sweeper turns
the splits seem always different,, outside longer split, less bouys
inside split sharper closer turns maybe more bouys
maybe make the splits longer, but we may get restricted by area
not sure of the formula, but they’re a hell of a lot better than the dinky 7 bouy courses we set-up

a poley or blaster course would be shite for the couches

I am new to raceing and i thought it was spot on im a novice and that was my first race its hard to take in the amount of bouys out there as it is and concentrate on learning how to ride, ive heard they change through out the season and mix it up a little to give every diferent ski a chance. For me as a novice PERFECT
    STAGE II (74.4)
    STAGE III (Riva+Piranah??

The track was set so as not too difficult for the first race of the season... With so many new racers an easy to understand course and a taste for racing was the goal. As the season progresses and riders improve so will the tracks...

The Bunbury site was a good venue that provided the opportunity for a long straight that is not available at other venues...

Number of laps for poley's will be looked at and yes they could have been greater as could the number for the 12oo class etc. But at the end of the day we were late getting racing and by cutting the number of laps down enable us to get 4 moto's instead of three in...

Next round will see a completely different track... Keep the constructive stuff coming....

I ride in the 1200 class and haven't got a problem with the long straights and sweeping bends I enjoy them but I think the split has to have bends in it. The outside split was virtually straight and 2 seconds faster than the inside split, like I said we may as well have had 4 buoys and gone in a big circle. If everyone likes straight line racing where no one can overtake thats cool, but I think racing for position is more fun and more challenging. I didn't see many people overtake at the weekend unless they had bigger hp.
As for venue....was an awesome spot.... to watch us all play follow the leader!

Lumpstar....not 100% sure on the changes to the 08 sxr, Craig may know more than me but I think its mainly the look of it thats changed.
