Not according to the rules, that would be 'blocking', hence y I have queried it.
Blacksheep, I know it was the same for everyone, but everyone seemed to do so much betta than me. And it's obvious why, or u can ride my ski next choppy round & find out, hehe. But hey, I had a crap round, it happens. I'm over it. I was never gonna quit just coz of that. I just neva thought it would be that bad..............musta taken it all too seriously![]()
I'll just go harder next time, & put the fun back into it.

deliberate blocking is changing your line to deliberately block you
.
Maybe it was a good thing I was last then...... I couldn't keep the same line for more than 5M, woulda got disqualified...![]()

Seriously tho, if u tried that, u might keep that rider behind u but u'd lose too much speed, dartin from left to right. U'd have a betta chance by keepin a good line & hopin they don't have the pwr 2 take u on the outside....

Sharky it is not you mate...the XP or XPL is more suited to the class we race...will be good to see 10 skis on the line with the same HP...
Clint sorry for the pics... I had my friend take photos and guess what he did take photos but only of me...Durrr...maybe I should have been more specific...Sorry

Ditto. After riding this arvo in small/med chop, then in the wake of 3 different skis of a similar size to mine (Seadoo HX, Polaris SLX & Seadoo XP) I realised I had never riden in big chop at full throttle (race style) let alone right behind a big ski......I guess I didn't expect it to be like that bad. This arvo I played with trim setting, altered riding style, & behind those skis I had NO probs keeping up. Pump still slipped but nowhere near as much. In a straight line, 1 of em was faster (XP), 1 was same(HX), & 1 was slower (SLX). There were 2 different riders on each craft too. Also, I think with some mods I can improve it. I also rode the XP & it was as bad as mine....maybe worse. I still hate chop, but now I got a better idea of things. There is light.......![]()
