    Jsw Agm

    Hi Guys

    The agm is on this wednesday the 28th November 2007. Who's goin?

    It is just across the road from the inglewood hotel (danger!!!!!) 2/799 beaufort street mt lawley 6.30pm Boating Industry Association (BIA)

    Seeing how it is dangerously across the road from the pub i thought we could catch up for a drink before/after (or both) the meeting.

    I live just around the corner so no driving for me.......

    For those who have an opinion now is the time ..... put up or shut up!!!!!

    I'll be there but I'll need to head off straight after. Got a big week @ wk this week. How late is it likely to go anyway?

    would think and hour or so will pull it up if all are on time.. Just have to vote in new committee etc and give update on whats haooening...

    Well great turn out to the AGM last night. Went a little longer than expected but i think all 17 people who turned up would problably think it was worth the investment of their time as we looked to be progressing well for the future.

    At this point it would be good if one of the committee can put something on following this about the meeting etc. How about the new Vice President?

    Yeah, Amanda or Al can give the bullet point overview………think they took the minutes
    .
    But from my perspective, that certainly was a positive, bubbly, pro-active thinking meeting
    Every-one seemed of the same mindset on moving forward, full of idea’s and positive comments
    The open & honest discussions were definately different from previous AGM’s with other clubs that I’ve attended..

    The main broad themes I picked up on were
    • A very small committee were doing a lot of multi multi tasking activities
    • Recent successful growth in race number membership
    • Social & Recreation rider membership requirements
    A common theme being, many recreational riders would love to be part of “a Club”
    And I believe JSW has much to offer as... "a club"
