Thread: Surf round Suggestions...

Looking for sugestions on where we could logisticly hold a surf round of racing...

By this I mean ease of council approvals for both beach access and racing and safe surf conditions..

Test month will be MAy as the race calender has an opening.

The Race committe is working on a proposal for a round at the Mindarrie / Quinns Surf lifesaving club.. To utilise their facilities as well. This area has beach access for quad and vechile bbq's cold showers and toilets. It will by the end of the year have Portofino's resturant and a cafe and a hot/cold shower block...


Other sensible suggestions appreciated...

Great Idea Choockc... a little variation in the race format and venue will keep the racing interesting.

Lancelin back beach is an excellent place for a surf race. Good waves plenty of room easy to launch etc etc. Just a little bit furhter tho to travel. Bit like bunbury just shorter!
