After seeing Prince Harry's post with the classes ....

It shows what may become a big year next year .

The extra guys that we haven't seen are guys and girls who may join us next year , I can say most of them will ...

So if you merge the novice list he made , you will have 4 huge classes and a long Race day at that ...

It looks like that WA may have the biggest group of racers coming up , we can only run 4 classes as anymore will darg into a second day .Too much work ..

So over all its been a intreasting thread and looks like a intreasting year of Racing coming up .

Hey lump star, get those 750 riders in , we can run them together but split the classes and points ....

Now that would be a huge class ...

It is going to be a tough decision for Chookc I am sure.

hhhmmmmmmm.........controversial CM, see if you receive the same sort of reaction/treatment I've received in the past for similar remarks.....somehow, I doubt it.

I think, as I've always said, riders with similar ability, racing on a happy medium track, regardless of 2 or 4 stroke machines would make for a better/fairer race......the issue, I feel, is finding the happy medium........something in between Adrenalin Park and the normal track size at the Narrows. That way, you could maintain the current classes but with a more unpredictable outcome, which at the end of the day, makes for better racing.

Great thread Slash by the way...........obviously got a few people thinking. I'm waiting for the on-slaught.

I think the "High Visibility Vests" for newbies is a really good idea.

I had a lot of riders asking about the classes but no one wanted to start a discussion , so i thought what the heck ..

In one day there has been 400 views and 45 thread replies , this shows that it has been on peoples mines...

So keep the ideas running and keep the votes coming , this will make the committees decision a lot easier ...

Chookc whats your thoughts?? You are the race director??
The bottom line is no matter what decision is made the numbers we have are makeing the club bigger and better (harder for dpi to argue with)
    STAGE II (74.4)
