    Kawasaki JS550 Flywheel troubles

    Hello guys and gals.

i have a 1984 kawasaki JS550 jetski that has a stuffed pulser coil on the magneto.

i have tried to get the stubborn flywheel off, but i have had no luck.
Is there any trick to getting these off? or are there places in Perth that will do this job?

    so far i have tried.
    - WD40
    - Acid (to eat away some of the rust and corrosion)
    - Penetrine (WD40 equivalent)

    - Then a mechanical puller (which i destroyed the thread on the main bolt)
while heating the flywheel with a gas torch and hitting with a hammer....

    - Then i hired a hydraulic puller (which i did up as tight as i could with the supplied handle - i didnt want to break it with an extension bar)

    and it still didnt budge..

i figured my last option before i cut it off is to use an oxy torch to heat it up.

do you guys have any other ideas??

    Thanks in advance,
    Steve.
