    My dilemma, 650cc

    Jay. Melbourne Australia
Ok I recently purchased a ski and like many it has ended up being a major headache so far.
Ok so the problem I face is, that it has a snapped crank, i have the mechanical amplitude to rebuild the motor, but I will need a crank (Q1: what is a reasonable price to pay for a 650 crank and does anyone have anything they might like to sell??)
I also have picked up a 750 motor that requires full rebuild, I was considering rebuilding this one I also and putting it in my 650 hull later on down the track. (Q2: what is a 750 engine requiring rebuild worth assuming its non sized etc??) (Q3: is a 650 and a 750 crank interchangeable?? I assume not I have just heard a 440 and a 550 crank is, so thought it might be similar situation with the big bores?)
If anyone can answer any of my question that would be great. clubmn@optusnet.com.au

If the 750 motor fits & is suitable to the driveline, use that. Cranks are over $1000 to buy new, then you have the rest of the motor to rebuild too.

I don't know if the 750 motors fit or not but since the 650 is stuffed anyway, pull it out & try the 750 in there to see
