Hey, I was wondering if someone could help me. My ski has about 30 hours use - 20 of that has been mine. The ski has been running awesome - haven't needed to do anything to it. However, last time I went out I had a couple of issues. It was running great but all of a sudden lost power. The engine sounded fine (not misfiring) but the ski had no power. Then it went away, and it was fine again - but about an hour later it re-occurred. I was told when I bought the ski that I would have to replace the plugs quite often, but I have not had to do this as yet - however, I would assume if it was a plug issue it would sound as if it was misfiring at least a little (which it wasn't). I have checked the intake grate and this was all clear.
Confused- any ideas ???

, your mate obviously had corroded or dirty terminals.........if nothing else. Obviously they were preventing the battery from recieving a propper charge, but in any case that should have little to do with spark output, unless your spark is governed by a chip mapping which gets its power from the battery. Anyway wiggling leads only weakens them. Take the leads off, & clean them, & the battery terminals correctly
