Thread: New STX 15F Owner

Hey everyone, purchased an STX15F last summer (october) and absolutely love it..thought id join this site to get more info on ski's etc and ask a few questions...im from newcastle and have only taken it out on warners bay so far..planning a few more trips though...so far managed to get it to 98km/hr....trying to find a downhill part of the bay to get me to a hunjy!! can anyone help me with basic mods or tell me what i should or shouldnt do...i see a lot of people changing sponsons etc but not sure why or if i should...also im extremely paranoid about tipping it...should i be? last thing i want is water in the engine

Well you do quite a lot with the 15x as a lot of people know.

I also have a 15f that is actually for sale.
You can gain a few 1-3mph with a frew simple mods and also have a better fuel economy too i found
try installing a ride plate( i had an R&D plate )
Air intake kit a also think r&D
Skat trak impeller (p.s i have a brand new one for sale pm me if your interested)

Sponsons will not make you go fast but will make the ski turn much more direct
