new to jet ski, not sure whats working right or not. when running off of home tap, water comes out of telltale but in water air and water comes out not a constant flow
Sounds a little odd.
Remember the tell tale is usually the high point in the cooling system, and should be able to force air in the system out, followed by cooling water.
It may not be able to push water out if the ski is at an angle upwards on the hose as pressure may not be sufficient, but under throttle, this may not be the case.
It is a way to ensure coolant is circulating without air pockets, as well as pressure relief.
Often the "pisser" only dribbles on the hose, but the expansion chamber body will feel cool to the touch if all is working.
The real way is on the water, and check again, as debris may be in the system after being hibernates over winter, but should clear in a short time.
We have had spiders etc blocking water ways, which came out in a short time of running, or even paint and corrosion flakes in there, with same solution.
