Can't wait to see it Sharky. If it works and is legal, put me down for one.
Hehehehe - I'm thinking you are gonna come up with a crazy setup.

Kawicustom I'm pretty sure I know whats wrong with ya ski. After riding it on suday, I did some thinking then remembered u said it had an R&D scoop grate. When I bought my scoop grate I wanted an R&D coz they had the gnarliest lookin scoop on em. I thought 'more water thru pump maybe means more speed', but after speakin to some oldschool kwakka guru's I learned the R&D grate is too aggressive for a stock or even a limited ZXi. They r really for a super stocker. Ya motor seems to wanna rev but can't. I don't think it can cope with that much water thru the pump. It seemed to fluctuate between 6800 & 7400, which makes sense, as it picks up air in the chop. Mine used to rev to about 8000 as a stockie. Now it revs to about 8500 easy. I used a worx scoop grate. I still have my stock grate if u wanna try it to see. Let me know.

oh, ok chookc, I took the ski to palmy and it was flat water. warmed her up and did a run. peak rpm was 6600. brought her in and removed air box. Run again... rpm now 6650-6700. brought her back in and removed intake grate aswell. Run again... rpm still 6650-6700! Put airbox back on and rpms still 6650. ski does seem to go quite fast, speedo reading 50mph. but having had a few good runs on flat water it feels like its holding back. my thoughts are fuel starvation. i Might try an electric fuel pump or aftermarket pump and see the difference. any thoughts on this are most welcome!!!
