    Air filters

Hi all, does anyone where I can get some decent after market air filters for my ZXi? I'm thinkin something like tripple 'Finer Filters'. I don't care if they have a universal clamp on type base, I'll just machine up some venturi adaptors for my carbs.

    Found some

    Good old google.....

    http://www.uniflow.com.au/
    http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...?Prod=59-2040R

My only concern is potential for water intake with the K&N. The uni filter, being a thicker foam type with tho addition of filter oil, in my mind would repel any water that came into contact with them. Any thoughts?

i have a spare set of 3x carbon fiber tau-ceti filters just need adaptors to suit your carbs. After doing a lot of homework found tau-ceti to flow the best amount of air if you are worried about water you could get prefilters for them which repels water. If you run them on downdraft carbs you shouldnt have a problem with water as the carbs are high.

Click on the unifilter link then click on 'products' on left side, then click on 'custom induction pods'. They r marine suited with arresters.

Pav1200, how much do u want for em?

I ordered 3 uni filters (with flame arresters) but I'm keen to see what yours r like. Do u have any pics?

    What size is the flange?

Here are some photos of them they are carbon fiber tops marine grade s/steel mesh and rubber bottoms with s/steel clamps. The opening at the bottom is 70mm they just need tau ceti adaptors to suit whatever carbs you have i took them off after changing my intake manafold from downdraft to sidedraft and after that i bought shorter tau ceti f/a. I paid $375.00 for these f/a but would sell them for $150.00 they are in perfect condition. Let me know if you are interested as i am going to put them for sale soon on ebay just cleaning out the shed as i am selling my ski. IMG_0133.JPG
