Thread: ultra 150 gauge wanted

new to this jet ski world , have just bought a ultra 150 ,2ooo model very happy with the ski , the gauge cluster doesnt work ,is there any checks or common probs with these

Hi, I also have just bought a ultra 150 and have found that the connectors under the front hood often get moisture in them and corrode the terminals and also burn out the cable. What I did was cut the cable on either side of the connector and did a hard wire job with solder and heat shrink which at the moment has worked a treat. Be sure that this is the problem first before you go crazy cutting, get a cheap multi meter undo the connectors ( which is a pain in the ass), turn the ignition on and ensure that you have some voltage coming through there, check to see if there is corrosion on the plugs on the connector and if possible get in there with some wd40 or a small file etc and remove the corrosion ( this may fix the problem, using the stock connectors is the best way to go if you can.
