thats why us easterners can go everywhere..... MEN fear nothing

everyone wants to adopt us as there own

and Baz, with the new x, we don't need to ride all the way to alkimos anymore. 1m waves send these beasts flying....

altho, we will have to try the old faithful

Old faithful is good all yr round, hence why we can rely on it in spring/summer 3 weeks in advance to organise a decent group of wave jumpers.

Although it wont be a JSW sanctioned event, similar safety standards should be followed. Helmets will be essential. Obviously PFD's & RST's will be standard. I'd like to get as many keen photograghers out for this 1. Imagine the potential for calendars, block-mounted pics, posters etc. Hopefully I can look into all of this before next summer.

How about a weekender up at wedge? There are a few skiers here who also have dirt bikes. What a weekend it'd be! Only issue I can see is access for 2wd's, & lack of fresh water for those who wanna flush their ski within 5 mins of riding it. We've had several 2wd's in there, just drop tyre pressure to 10psi incl trailer.

The beach is rock hard & the track from lancelin is hard pack but there is a 1-2k (give or take) stretch of soft stuff before the beach. But in terms of practicality for all it's the bomb. Bikes can ride in the eyesight of skiers & vice-versa. Camping is permitted. Last time we were there we had a bonfire goin all night.

Skiing, Moto-x, 4WDing, camping. That's a lifestyle! Anyone else keen?
