Welcome to the forum Young Gun. If you're going to buy a ski, suggest you join Jet Sport West, I guarentee you will avoid making expensive mistakes and save a lot of $$$.
    Go to www.jetsportwest.asn.au
I suggest that you indicate what you are intending to use the ski for and how much you want to spend. You will quickly realise that riders tend to be biased towards their ride and brand so keep an open mind and don't rush your decision. Now will probably be a good time to buy as the summer riders will be thinking its getting a little cold and want to sell their ski!
Good luck hope to see your name appear on JSW members list soon, best $'s you'll spend

Thanks alot for that info, I wasn't sure on buying one, but now that I see there is a fairly active "scene" in Perth it seems I will get use out of it after all!

Welcome to the forum Young Gun. Jet Sport West is definitely the way to go, wether u wanna race or just ride socially. We're a freindly bunch & advise/mechanical help is always on standby. As Jagsy said, keep an open mind but most of us know what we're talking about when it comes to the good & bad models. The ski scene in perth is bigger than what most think. We have members who regularly ride as far south as Busselton, & as far north as Alkamos, even in the cold of winter. Don't think, just ask, then buy. U WON'T regret it! Good luck.

Good ski! I'd look at buying it myself if the timing was right for me. I heard a whisper u were downgrading to an 800 Harry? Is the XPL too quick for ya?
