    Hey mate
    Welcome aboard.

You got it right; Australia is a great place to ski. I have only ever ridden in NSW and QLD, both places have some great locations.
The GTX has a great hull for enduro i think its what most of the guys use, or is it the GTI, i think they have the same hull?? Correct me if im wrong someone.

Are you specifically after a three seater?

What about a Yamaha GPR 06.07 model? 175HP, you can pick a descent 1300R for around 12K. They have a great hull, great for the surf just an all round top ski. The only downside is they are two strokes; this would be my preference on your budget.

You can pick up a RXP 05ish model for that kind of money as well; they are supercharged, 1500cc, 215HP and 4 stroke, bit quicker than the GPR from the start.

Well put it this way for reliability, a lot of Jet Ski Hire/tour places use the SeaDoo GTX, they rack up some crazy hours on them in excess of 600. So that must say something for reliability.
I like the look of the Kawasaki better though.

Really it all comes down to what you want to use the ski for? Have you ridden any skis before?
I take it you are located in QLD?
Have a look around on trading post, boat sales, boat point etc.

    Hope this helps.

yea wanted to go sit out on it and do some fishing off it not alot though , so thats why the 3seater i was guessing bigger hull more stable? correct me if im wrong.
The gpr 1300 is a really good looking ski shame about the 2stroke but i mite b able to find one of those cheap rebuilt maybe? how many hours on a 2stroke before rebuild time you say? mainly rec riding, how ever i do like the rxp see doo hmmmmm let me know what you think.

    Yeah pretty much.

Yeah you can pick up a 2006/7 from anywhere between 9 - 13k - I recently sold my 07 black/gold for 13k. Depending on how the ski has been treated really, usually they dont require a rebuild until after 130/40 hours, but i have seen them up around the 300hr mark and still running fine.
So if you looking for reliability stick with the 4 stroke.
