yea im worred about the duty by customs but ill try and buy the trailer in melb as i dont realy need to buy one from us as they would be roughly same price.

new or old you have to pay gst but you dont have to pay duty if its made in the usa
remember you need the paper work to confirm its made in the usa you cant just tell customs your jetski was made in the usa and hope they belive you their are also other rules to out out of paying duty

im assuming when i buy the ski all this paperwork is provided. all up it wont happen for about a month of research and im gathering fatcs and stuff so i know what im geting and its what i want.
