    Mounting Ski

Guys, just a quick and possibly stupid question. How often do you actually come off these larger sit down type skis, and how hard/easy are they to re-board?

    Thanks

With general use I don't think you come off them all that much, and they are fairly easy to get back on (although if you are in the surf it could be a bit more difficult)

Thanks Palmer. I see those YouTube vids of people climbing up and falling down and don't want to be one of them!! I am planning on getting an FX HO or VXR so they have a step at the back which should help

Ive only ever come off from being silly and really throwing it around, even then it takes a bit to come off. Reboarding is easy with the rear step, but without it Id imagine it could be a little bit harder.

You only really come off if your throwing it around hard... But they are easy to get back on! Most have a rear step that folds down... If my misses can do it.. You can too

Most of the clips you see on youtube are of the older skis - the newer ones are quite easy to mount once you fall off. Their more stable in the water especially when stationary.
Plus most of the have rear boarding steps.
After a few times of falling off you will get the hang of it.
Don't be scared mate just enjoy you'll get the hang of it.
