Any idea on what the XP's top speed without any mods is. mate looked at an XP DI 2003 model. What should somethin like this cost. About 45hrs on it. Any good or bad things you've heard about these skis. Let me know

Good ski's the di runs on the smell of the oily rag.. Not much scope for engine mods if he decides he needs more power. My Di was great until i decided to go faster
what would you reccomend for speed and a good reliable ski
All I am saying that if you want to go the modification route latter on than the DI is not the ski to do it with.. Reliable and fuel econnomy can't beat it really...
What about just the standard XP's. 98-2002 models. Is there many mods that can be done on them.And what kind of speed can you get out of the XP DI's
The Standard XP`s have alot of mods available :
Pipes , Twin Pipes , Bigger Carbs , Porting , 1050 kit or go the full hog 1200 kit .... You can push them over 200hp and travel up to the 70+ mph ....This is based on the 130hp model XPL 951cc
Stock Di is about 63+
Ring the Seadoo dealers they can give you more reliable stats........

Was a poster in Bryans shop today with a DI xp for sale for 12000 don't know any more details... To me it seams on the top end of the price bracket but again all relative to what you are prepared to pay and what others are available... etc..
Yeh saw that. Had a look at it. Nice ski. But a bit more than willing to pay. It had some air pods or something on it guy reckons it made it a bit quicker. Looked well looked after
Hi ,i'm new to this site, we picked up a 03 for $9000 last week she has done 53 hrs and is in really nice condition,maybe someone here can help us out ,the xp runs fine for 5 minutes then the maintenance light comes on,its some sort of electrical problem , before we took it to the dealer we attempted to start it and she was as dead as a dodo batterys fine anyone got any thoughts???
You need to take to a Seadoo dealer to reset the Maintenance light , also the battery may seem fine ....but it may be right on the limit of 12volts which can shut the comp down or check your fuel tap , or you may have some crap fuel which has blocked your carbs...........
But best to see the boys at Seadoo.....................![]()
