    wiseco pistons 951

    i am rebuiding a 98xpl with wiseco pistons +.020, is .004 enough clearance, wiseco has changed their alloy in their pistons, was running .008 clearance on old motor with wiseco, just to be safe i have set them at .005 but i am worried it is not enough

    .005 should be fine at the skirt of the piston.

    Also slide the rings into the Bore and check them also......

    Plenty of oil when putting together.........

    ive just done one with .006 but i would warm it up slowly even with my .006
