    1993 seadoo xp 650 problem

when i got the ski a few months ago it would accelerate properly. now when u give it full throttle off the mark it sorta pops and splutters sorta until it gets up abit of speed then it takes off like it should. when u do a circle on the spot and ur in the white water it hardly goes anywhere for a while. i dont really know how to explaint it better at the moment so if you can suggest another way of explaining whats happening il tell you if thats what its doing then u can tell me whats wrong with it. its my first ski so i dont know much about them .

i cant remember if it was doing this before i changed the sparkplugs. it had br8es in it and when i changed them i put in br7es because the shop didnt have the br8es. would this have anything to do with it but i dont know if it was doing it before i changed the plugs so the plugs might not have anything to do with the problem.

im not sure how to describe what its doing very well

Definitely could be plugs causing the spluttering on take off. NGK 7's are a very hot plug so prob don't like running on a cool motor. As for when u r circling, that sounds like ya pump is slipping which could be that with the angle u r on, u r drawing air into the intake grate or even sucking up your own bubbles (my ski does this a little too sometimes when circling hard). I would definitely put BR8ES's back in it, & then see what issues you have.
