No you can use Inox. About 10-12bucks from bunnings or SEADOO WEST. It should be done after each use. Someone told me "Give it a fogging after each flogging" I also use this to spray over the engine. Interested to know if you can use WD40 or something similar though. I'm sure someone will let us know.

    hello C Doo and dlinkwint

The best product to use for fogging is: "seadoo storrage oil". it is liquid when you fog and it become a kind of sticky oil that lube all parts inside the engine, throttlebody, stock intercooler, ...

For cleaning/ lube the engine compartment, you can use "sea-doo lube".
Others like WD40, TIX, ... can eat al rubber parts inside you ski!
I work in a seadoo store and i see enough; damaged hoses, broken engine mounts,...

To spray over the engine you can use RP7. I have been using this for years now and it has not caused any damage to rubber parts.

To fog a four stroke engine is not as easy as a two stroke engine. Spraying lube down the throttle body is better than doing nothing, but it is not good enough to stop possible problems. Les from Seadoo Centre has setup a fogging kit which once installed, is very easy to use and it gets the oil exactly where it is required. I have this kit installed on my RXP and i fog the ski after every use, it takes about 30 secs to do.

Fogging Kit from Les installed is $150.00 or they can send you one to install yourself for $49.95, I know les is currently working on an installation DVD for the kit, however if your not sure you can always ring for advice.
