How well does this one perform? What is the going price on this modification. What size have you bored the throttle body?

    Hi Nickdog,

This Manifold is the best we have made yet! If you race its a must....Acceleration and throttle response is far superior to the STD OEM, This is great for the Jump off the start line and also general riding.

Due to the complexity of this design and the time it takes to professionally make it and look presentable the cost will be total $2000 Australian.
This includes the OEM Manifold modified with our changes ready to bolt on.

The Jig alone cost me $3000

I know other Companies and individuals have attempted to make or change Manifolds and to Modify an OEM RXP Manifold is hard work as once you get beyond 13-17lbs boost it is difficult to seal and the vibration is a factor also.

    Regards

looks good... you may have seen on the other site I made the same thing more or less. Yours sure is nicer looking tho but mine sure as heck was ALOT cheaper ... but anything is cheap when you make it yourself.

I can vouch for the fact that it's HARD WORK to modify the OEM unit, and to make sure it seals properly and strongly to withstand boost pressure and vibration. Mine seems to take abuse quite well. For me, the materials were cheap... my time and countless hours were alot.

What kind of gains did you see from it.. any wide open RPM gain... or just acceleration and throttle response gain?

Thanks for the nice comments Shibby!

Most gains we out of the hole and the ability to pump the throttle around the race track with minimal boost loss due to Lrg Plenum.

Mid range was premium and it pulls like a freight train from 0-8600rpm & quick.

Im all about out of the hole and getting to the corner first after that i dont care if i come last! My 1TUFF RXP has never been beaten to the first corner and i can ride this ski all weekend with my Family.

    I say a racers DELIGHT!!!!

Yes my Manifold is expensive buy remember if selling all over the World I need to build these without any chance of boost leak or future problems to potential customes.

I enjoy sharing my findings and hope others follow like your self and together we find the perfect combination.

    Great looking manifold
I was looking at building an 4tec engine up at one stage

I took the head to my guy and got it ported
I actually found there was a gain in flow by welding up the injector cutout in the head
And was looking to run three butterflys and pull the injectors back from the head slightly

This was a big budget build but it never got finished which was a shame
The head finished was flowing 240hp N/A
so when it was boosted it was going to be a monster

But unless you are going to go to this trouble it would make sense to use the system you have

How did you find the larger plenium did it give it a better still air enviroment and what was the effect of that

    Hi Bari,

The TB can be border to 58mm or 60mm depending on yur mods.

This manifold does not affect top speed at all as we incorperate the OEM runners and custom plenum.
