Somefun i dont think you need the valve springs and retainers until you are going to rev the motors over about 8300rpm. Hurry up and get this boat done we need to see how it goes.

Nickdog I was thinking the same thing....I have one motor all set now this week end I have to start the other over drive gear set. But both SC's are all rebuilt and ready to go! When I had the starboard side sc apart the washers had just started to crack! I got to them just in time.....

I've got an '06 with some minor mods (can't keep up with that madman Somefun) and am currently running with Solas' 15/20rr. Typial summer day at about 70 F and 65 humid, full tank, two adults, rpms are maxing out around 7650-7700. Stock impellers I was tapping the limiter. With pending mods, hoping to hit 8k rpms and see how much wake spray I can catch off Somefun's boat.

Hi Some fun, Les Cooke in Melbourne also worked a 200 Speedster this baby now has 520hp

and is an absolute weapon as you already know they turn on a dime probably would not like to turn in one at this speed though. The next possible mod on another wake edition seadoo boat is Turboing each motor hmmm might have to wait for winter though. Any idea as to what Les was using or what could be used for intake grates on the speedster?

Being conservative I should be around 540 to 550 HP.....She should fly!!! I really want to be in the low 70's with it this year! I think I will be. All I have to do if finish the port motor and I'm all set....
