    RXP-X Modifications

    Hi everyone

Hope this is the right section to post in

Anyway im wondering what would be the best order to do some modifications to a rxp-x to make it faster as in top speed and also more bottom end power.
Is there anything like exhausts, ecu's ,intakes or anything else that someone can recommend that work well or anything to stay away from.
Also a rough estimates on cost so i dont get ripped off to.
At the moment the ski is 100 percent stock.

    thanks

you have the wrong ski to Mod keep it stock... because of the bigger pump tunnel they are prone to Overstuff and it will buck you off...But in saying that go here if you want to learn more....

Pottsy is right. You can go so far with them, but the structure of the hull is a little different to the RX-p. Just be aware of this.

I myself have a rxpx and beg to differ as mine and another are doing over 76mph and have not even looked at bucking once and i ride several times a week salt and fresh water river and ocean you need to work on your setup and you can run the numbers safely. Bridge to Bridge today RXPX 1st and 3rd both running over 76mph.

Try running it 80+ then you will then have another opinion..

B2B was stock-ish RXP too, which wont hit 80- either.

Unless of course they can modify the size of the Intake, which I have yet to hear about.

The B2B ones were not performance which this guy was asking. I guess we are small when compared with the states, but they have seen the Pump-stuffing problem, but then again I imagined it happening to me.

If you want speed, the RXP, thats the way of common consensus.

And before you say, I just might get the RXP driven next year, but then again if the RXP that was 2nd was ridden with a more experienced rider, then things would have been different for sure. It's about the rider, not the ski in the race. No dis-respect to the 2nd place rider, but it was his first time on the river and racing.
