    replacing s/c impeller

    hey guys,
I have an 05 rxp with a solas 14/19r impeller, riva power filter, riva intake grate, and have removed the second exhaust box. my rpm is only 7800 at top speed was thinking of putting a les cooke s/c impeller on will this help to get a few more rpm? and if i put this impeller on will i have to change anything else eg. ( ecu, fuel injectors) any feed back would be great.

    Hi Spermy,

    Welcome to the site!

Ill try to answer all your questions:

    1. First it depends on your budget
    2. Option1 try a Les Cooke A Kit impeller it requires no Engine mods and will get the Supercharger Boost up from 6-10lbs and a big increase in acceleration. You could also add an Intercooler kit......

    3. Riva intake grate is good!

    4. Option 2 B-Kit Supercharger will take the boost up to 13.5lbs and all the world racers including my self use this Supercharger. It produces massive gains all over the rev range.
Your prop will need to be changed to a Skat-trak 15-19
You can also add an after market ECU like Riva or Rotax and if you have lots of $$$$$$$ Autronic is the best.

As a RIVA Racing dealer i can supply you any RIVA parts you may require.

    Hi Spermy
I have a suggestion for you:-)
As you are in Queensland why not buy from an Australian company?
Check out the following link and you will see that Piranha Parts can offer High Performance Race Parts for SeaDoo's and also we are Authorised Dealers for Les Cookes products - so we are a one stop shop - the best part is is that we are generally cheaper than anywhere else and our quality is every bit as good as others ( if not better! )

If you are looking to just get the RPMS to 8100, repitch the prop.
If you are looking for a nice performance gain and just want to change the S/C impeller, then get the A- kit.

IF you want to GO FAST with not too much out of pocket then the pirhana kit with the A- impeller is the best deal going IMO. you will need to get 42 lb injectors and change the prop, but you will be flying on the water.

Fill the ride plate holes with Plastic bond and smooth off with sandpaper.

Easiest 1 mph you will ever get. Unless you dont like the way OPAS works, I would not remove it. especially if you put a pump wedge on. (another 1 mph) Removing OPAS helps handling, but does not improve top speed. On RXP's removing OPAS typically causes the ski to porpoise (bounce up and down) at top speed. JMO

Spermy it's the same spec as installing the stock stuff.... I would put in new spring washers and replace the ceramic washers with someone's steel washers.... 22 ft pounds....
