    Open Loop Cooling

Does anyone know if someone makes the components needed to run an open loop cooling system?

If so, do you know the cost?

    Looking for a kit ASAP

    Hi Shibby,

    Their are 2 types:

    Stock Class
    Super Stock

(Needs to be ordered) Stock class is for the average guy no major engine mods $350 Aust comes with all parts.

(In stock) Super Stock requires the Adjustable ECU like our Autronic and comes with electronic solinoids and all required parts.
It allows cooler engine temps which in return allows more Fuel and the gain is approx 5hp. $488

Les Cook product avaliable from Les or Call Piranha-Parts.

    Hope tis helps

I fall in the middle of those categories. I have some big mods, but I don't have Autronic and I'm not really interested in Autronic at this time (YET )

    I have 4" rear intake
    B-kit
    Fuel controller
    RR ECU
    50lb injectors
    Fuel Controller
you know my intake manifold design....
    custom camshaft
    lightened valvetrain
    3-blade 15/19 prop
    Intercooler

i guess the super stock setup is electroncially controlled and controls the flow of water to keep motor temps more constistent?

    Hi Shib,

Im sure you know my ski by now! We dont run open cooling yet but im about to look into the Super Stock as im lucky enough to have the Autronic.
This area is new to me so i need to do some research and figure it all out!

Im trying to understand the difference between the 2 kits besides the Autronic.

    Shibby,

My ski has open loop cooling and i am sure that you need something, most likely autronics, to control the flow of water. I recomend that you ask Les about open loop cooling, he understands the system best, since he set it up.

    Regards,
    John
