    Big Power and Bigger Speed

Well I got the speedster fired back up with all the new mods. Riva S3, 42 lbs Injectors, RR Over drive gears, 2 degrees wedge plates and Solas 15/20's and of course Jerry's steel washer's and ceramic bearings... Well it sounded great when it was fired up.. So the only thing left to do was take it out and kill it! First test put it in the water the boat had a full tank 320 lbs of fuel and two passengers ( about 130lbs for the two of them ) I ran it easy for about 5 minutes and I just couldn't take it any longer.... So I dropped the hammer and she ran 72.2 on GPS!!! @ 8250 to 8300 RPM's . So if I run light fuel and dump the kids I'm sure it would run 73 to 74 mph.... My buddy got it on DVD so I'm going to try to put it on you tube.... Not to bad for a stock speed of 57 mph. Thanks to Jerry and all you guy's for all the help and great advice!!!!

    Faster than Les Cooke!?

Hmmm...I remember reading on here somewhere that Les Cooke modded a Speedster 430. I wonder how his efforts and ultimate top speed compare to yours, somefun!? That's pretty phreaking fast considering most modestly modded jet skis aspire to perform as well as your TWENTY FOOT JET BOAT!
