Hey guys,
I am looking into getting some more performance out of my ski. It is an 07 RXP and is currently factory.
I have been looking at the different kits from RIVA, mainly the stage 2 kits.
I use the ski a lot during summer, I live on the Gold Coast so most of my riding is done in the broadwater and ocean for those that know the area.
My question is, is the reliability of the ski compromised at all by adding these kits.

Hey Ryan,
IMO anything that you mod is going to have some effect on reliability depending on how far you go but I would say not to many dramas with the stage 2 kits. Things like C kit etc when your looking at regular rebuilds may not be the thing for a rec ski. I'm sure the doo gurus will chime in

Like Steve says, all things could/will affect reliability, but the S2 set-up doesn't stress the engine much, if anything at all.
RIVA parts are good, reliable, and well tested by thousands of skis all around the world, and assistance can be sought from almost anywhere, as they all have the similar parts and knowledge for all applications. Worth the money in my opinion for sure. No half tested, and warranty is superb.
Like it is known, you must treat it with TLC, and it will repay you in hours of good quality riding. Stick to service intervals, good oil, and check the slip moment on the charger regularly.
