Still only 7500rpm and 60 miles. Ideas?

Any ideas anyone?
I can't seem to get past 7400-7500rpm and 60 mile. I have an A kit-r and a 4 inch seadoo centre air intake. A brand new 13/18 Skat Trak prop.

My mechanic has tested for boost leaks and clutch sliphe has checked the intercooler, the J pipe, oil level and measured the pitch of the prop and checked the wear ring. Everything mechanically is A1 and new.

It is now going on the seadoo centre computer tomorrow as everyone is out of ideas as to why I am having this problem.

If anyone can think of anything else?

Sorry to hear your havin dramas. Im having some of my own so I sympathise.
If 100% there are no boost leaks and the SC isnt slipping I cant help but still think that there is too much prop for your power output.
By the way what injectors you runnin?? cause with the A kit wheel and ext IC you should be runnin 42's so you could be starvin for fuel at WOT. Just a thought.
If you get stuck I have a 4 blade Solas 14/19 that should be ok for your setup that I can lend you to test. But im sure Seadoo centre will work it out. Probably something very simple that no ones thought about.

Sorry just thinkin out load,the skat 13/18 as basically a stage II prop as is the Solas 14/19. I was turnin my 14/19 at 7900RPM with pretty much a stock set up so you should be just about on the limiter with your mods.

Hmmmn fuel??? Let us know what they find

It was to do with the ecu. Some sensors were turned off for some reason.

Good guess on the prop though. Seadoo centre seem to think that I have a freak engine

, so most probably will have to repicth my prop.

Testing is this Sunday so we shall take it from there. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

What dramas are you having? Tuning skis is such an effort...

Finally got all my bits together and installed, tested on the hose and all was good, motor ran fine, no leaks - perfect. My mate thats a mechanic for Seadoo comes over to have a look, and as soon as I fire it up its only runnin on 2 cylinders. Always the way. Anyway thinking its just a coil, but have to wait til monday to get one to check. So looks like another week going by without gettin in the water

I didn't end up going. Had a family bbq to attend. I will try and get out there this weekend though. Did you find what was wrong with your ski.

Havent had the chance yet. Got it flipped on its belly re-doing the gel coat on the hull. Beaching it all the time has finally cought up with me and started to peel chunks out of the fiber glass. Ill keep ya posted.
