Thread: Break in piriod For RXT-X

Hi my family just got a new rxtx and i was wondering what would make a good engine break in? thanks

Much discussuion has been had on this subject.

Best thing is to not rev it too hard for too long, and vary the RPM around for the first ten hours, then you could let fly for more extended periods of time.

General rule is to get the bearings to settle in by not holding any speed for extended time. Genereally 2 tanks of fuel before anything too strenuous for the ski.
