    Steering

    My steering is stiff and jerks around any solutions before taking the cable out to check it

    Hey mate

    Check that the cable has no kinks or bends in it.
    If not then you might have to take it out and replace it.
    Check around the jet and make sure there is nothing obstructing it.

    I am guessing you will have to replace it, They tend to corrode up if water gets in, i saw one last weekend being replaced on a XPDI

    Firstly What ski do you have Seadoo??

    My guess is it is finished.

    Take a hold of the steering nozzle, and try to turn it left and right. If you cant turn the bars with this, then the cable has had its day.

    Water gets in there, and over time will get the cable.

    What ski is it on?

    Usually the Yammis get a real jumpy steering, and the 'Doo's just get too stiff. There is a reason for this, it's the way the outer part of the Belden cable is tensioned on 'Doo's, whereas the Yammi's dont pre-load the outer core.
