    Speed numbers

    Hi guys,
just wanted to share my new speed with those interested. Today out on the lake in dead calm waters and slight breeze I was consistently at 75 - 76mph at WOT @ 8050rpm with my best speed topping out at 76.3. From my disbelief I even brought along a second GPS to confirm.

All my mods are in my sig, but I have to make special mention to a few people for their help. Firstly to Richieb for his endless passion and dedication to the sport, his devotion for getting the most out of jet ski's and constant availability when in need of help. Oh I forgot to mention the dozens of cups of coffee consumed in his shop whilst pondering what we can tweak next.

Also Jerry from greenhulk has always been helpful with his advise and support.

So in a brief summary we found the extra 4mph by switching the 14/19 and 80mm ring to a modified 15/20 with 81mm ring. Also found that the R&D intake grate didnt seem to hold the ski back as much as the Worx, although handling was a little less sharp but all in all I think Ill stick with the R&D. Richies diagnostics and problem solving and fine tuning seem to have gotten rid of all my electrical gremlins and without him Im sure I wouldnt be getting these speeds with a reliable rec ski.

So on that note, all the best to everyone for Xmas and have a safe and happy new year out on the water.
    Cheers
    Ned
