    Cleaning Procedure

Hi there, just wondering what the suggested cleaning procedure is for a 2008 RXT215. I just brought the ski and the manual is very vauge. I will be using the ski mainly in salt water. Sorry if this has been covered before, I am new to the forum (1st post). I used to have a 2003 2 Stroke GTI and I had to connect the hose and flush the motor, is this nessesary on the 4 Stroke models? It dosen't have a connection point at the back near the jet like my old one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you must flush this Ski, like all others.

Although the engine system is closed loop cooling, the water in which you ride is circulated around the exhaust and oil cooler, and will cause corrosion over time if not flushed at the end of the ride.

You should have a connection port at the rear of the ski, in the jet-pump tunnel. It is at about the '1 o-clock' position as you look into the tunnel.

Maybe the connection has been removed or taken off, but it does exist for sure.

Any more questions, or further to this, post a reply, and we will take it from there.

Thanks heaps for that. I found an outlet pipe with a thread on the inside of it, it's at about 11 o'clock looking at it from the back. Would that be it?

    Yes, that's the one.

Go to a hardware shop, and get the part that screws into this, they are a std thread. I have them here for about $3 a piece if you have trouble getting one.
