Thread: rxp supercharger

i have a 2007 rxp with riva stage 1 .. i want too know if a supercharger from a rxp-x 255 can be bolted right on ? are the motors identical or would i have too change injectors and fuel sensors ect .... thnx any help would be appreciated !!

Depends upon what you call a stage 1. The charger you are thinking of is what we commonly call an X-Charger.

If you have ext intercooler, then put #42 injectors in there.

my stage one consists of trim wedge, prop, intake grate and the power filter kit, i dont have the external intercooler ive just been looking into upgrading the supercharger too the x because i am coming up on rebuid time anyways and am wondering if uprgrading too the x is worth it ?? thnx for your time

An X-Charger is a good upgrade to all the 215 units. There is an allowed variance in the ECU which will allow it to work as it is.

We have discovered that the #38's will deliver sufficient fuel for this type of set-up, and that if we #42's in it, it ran slightly rich, and pulled the sli back.

My guess is that you are a recreational rider, and seldom wring it out for 25 mins or so like the Enduro guys do.(If you can hang on for this time, as it really is hard work).

Should be good to bolt in and go if it is a good one. Next stop is a B Kit or Rude, which then need more $$'s in support to get them to run safely.

+3 psi should be good to go for you though.
