Hi Guys I have an RXT-X 08 that has been booked in for a service and they told me that I may need to replace the supercharge washers from the original to a different metal washer.
The ski has about 40 hours on it and seems to be fine. I thought the 08 already had metal washers and seadoo had rectifide this problem from the ceramic washers.
They also told me to change the exhaust pipe clamps as some skis have been known to blow off the exhaust hose.
This is at an additional cost to an expensive service and I know that when you play with expensive toys some times you need to spend a bit of cash but are these changes nessesary.
I thought the 08 models had metal washers already. I'd want to Check this before getting it done.
Don't know anything about clamps.
