Thread: Error codes p0116 & p0118 fix help

Hi im relatively new to the seadoo jetski's and recently my 06 gxp 215 is coming up with the two 116 and 118 codes.
I am aware that these are about the engine temp sensor.
I just want to know where is the engine temp sensor located so i can rectify this problem.

Damaged sensor, damaged circuit wires, damaged connector or damaged ECM pins.
Fault detected when the engine is running.

Check for debris or blockage in cooling system.
Check the sensor for approximately 2280 to 2736 ohms at 19 to 21°C (66 to 70°F).
Check for approximately 2280 to 2736 ohms at 19 to 21°C (66 to 70°F) between ECM connector pins 11 and 27.

Sounds like the connector is crapped up, and has got water into it. Check this first
