    Intercooler Comparisons

We have recently been under fire from certain quarters regarding the fact that we do not send intercoolers to every peanut that wants a FREE one for supposed testing.
    ie:
"It would be interesting to see how the Piranha IC stacks up against the Vortec that Riva uses. So far the Riva has beat out everything i have back to back tested it with. I would love to test a Piranha IC but they never offered to send me one"

I would just like to make a couple of points re this:

    1. The person responsible for this comment has already tested it. He is a very clever man as he can do this just from looking at photographs and has already told all his friends they are just "cheap chinese knockoffs"!
I suppose the fact that he was actually offered a Dealership for our products and declined the offer, would have nothing to do with his biased testing results?

    2. Piranha-Parts policy is that we will sell to anyone - but nobody gets freebees. If for example, Riva wants one to test, then we would be more than happy to sell them one and they can do anything they want with it. If anyone thinks this is an unfair Policy then you are more than welcome to pay for one on someone elses behalf and we will be happy to send one out.

John- I recieved my kit! Thank You!

Chuck- I like Green Hulks site, I like this site, and I like PPG's site. I am a recreational rider, and want to learn from everyone! I have made a lot of friendships from the PWC community. I just wish that this would settle down a little bit so that cooler heads can prevail! No one from these sites has not delivered to me (a customer) what they promised. I speak for my self no one else. I like to learn from all of you and I do read this site and Green Hulks, and PPG's site on a daily basis.

John has not mislead me in any way, and that intercooler bracket is awsome! Like Steve said, everything looks top notch!

Green Hulk has not mislead me in anyway for knowledge and parts and is very informative.

I have bought parts from GP and had good success. I just wish the best out of this situation!

I second what muddy said above. I frequent any site where I can learn from, and get opinions and "real world" testing of parts. Having said that, people will purchase what they consider a good value based on performance, quality, etc..etc.. Green Hulk's site is not only the best site, but the only site for a "newbie" to jump in, and become an expert at working on and modding a 4-tec ski. Not to mention, if you have any questions, he will answer them almost immediately, and has helped many a person, without asking for a dime in return. To acuse man of trying to sell parts on HIS websight/business is ludacris. There can never be enough people selling different varieties of parts for our skis. It only helps everyone involved, including the customers. so having said that...as a beaten down black man once said :

CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?

    Thumbs up

How about you DYNO test the Intercoolers in a ski properly and post the results from a third party whom has no interest.

Dont attempt Back to back tests on the water as conditions can change in the water every time you ride even 5 min apart......

If you are so adamant do it once and do it right.....

No one wants to see "it dropped 100rpm" so its no good.....

First you need to find a ski over 370hp to post the complete results from
    0-370hp.

    Hey Guys - Enough already!
I have just logged on and find all this agro on the forum - I think it would be a good idea if everyone just pulled their heads in and put all this behind us - I understand how some people here want to defend PP and equally how some of Hulks mates want to defend him, but I think this issue this is getting out of hand and quite frankly I am now finding it bloody booring - I for one have better things to do with my time. Lets all just get back to doing what both forums were intended to do - give each other advice and assistance to help us all enjoy our sport. As Steve & Muddy have said, lets all just get on with it. Look, lets face it, it's perfectly understandable that Hulk will want people to believe his stuff is the best and PP will tell you that ours is - that's called business - but in the end it's up to each of you to purchase what you think is best for you, just evaluate all the advice you have been given before making a decision, useing common sense, not emotion, or out of pure loyalty.
My only comment is: "don't confuse price with quality!"
    Kindest regards

First: Welcome to the site Miketrin.

For obvious reasons your message was removed! We are trying to defuse the situation Miretrin not spark it up again hence the removal of your message.

This Silly stand off between the USA and AUSTRALIA must stop here.

    "FINAL"

Anyone whom posts negative MESSAGE toward another individual or other Forum/Company will be removed permanently.

I hope i make my self clear.

Its giving the Jetski industry a bad image and you would think us being 19hrs apart by flight we could all get along.

Could you imagine us all being neighbours we would probably be all riding together and sharing ideas......

WOW! i coudn't agree more. We are all PWC enthusiats sharing a common interest. There should be no bad blood between any of us.

Nice forum! It bears a striking resemblance to mine

I wish you the best of luck with your forum, it should grow nicely.

About some of the comments that were made on this thread. Yes, one of your customers, Ross Stiebe has offered to let me test the Piranha IC. I have to install it in his ski after though. LOL! Despite what Jase may think, i plan to do a FAIR back to back test, as with all my testing. The results will be what they will be and I will share results. Actually, i think the Piranha IC should perform very well. I like the fact that it has smaller end tanks on it than the XS IC i tested earlier. I think too much volume is a bad thing. Jase, i have no intention of "rubbishing" Piranha Parts just because i don't sell them. If they work for me i have no problem with becoming a dealer. I only sell parts i know to work and that i would use in my own skis. I do lots of testing of many parts! One thing i want you to understand "Mate" is i do not make my living off of selling parts. Parts sales help me maintain my site and dump the rest of the money into my skis

    Common Sense Prevails

Thank Heavens - Common sense prevails after all!

I am pleased to see that things have settled down and now hopefully we can all get on with the job of building better and faster ski's.

Hulk, I am pleased to see that you are finally going to get your hands on a Piranha-Parts IC Kit, and hope that by the time you get it installed and have the opportunity to give it a good run, that you will have a change of heart about the quality. But when you make your comparisons please keep the following in mind:

    1. This is our first batch from the factory and as such it is new for everyone. We would anticipate, that with good constructive comments and suggestions, the Piranha-Parts products will only get better. We DO take notice of good suggestions, as we did with RXP Steve's comments regarding the alteration to the shape of the slots in the mounting plate - this has now been incorporated into all future orders.

    2. Obviously we are in this to make money, however, when you see our kits I hope you will see that it IS possible to make good quality race parts at a far reduced price to what people have had to pay up until this point. If we can sell them at around 60-70% of our competitors prices, and still make a reasonable profit, then that should tell you something, and if the number of sales continues to rise, then this will give us the opportunity to perhaps reduce the prices even further - so it's up to you guys.

    3. If there are ANY issues with the products, get straight back to us and we will attempt to rectify the situation (there has been no significant problems to date - but I suppose nothing is impossible )

    As I tell everyone -
If you have a problem: Tell Us -
If you are happy with your purchase: Tell Everyone!

We look forward to seeing your Dealership Application Hulk because soon you will hopefully have no excuses and that would be good for everyone.

    regards
