    Gravity Games / Races

    Hi All,

Yesterday i attended the GRAVITY GAMES in Perth WA to see the best of the best shoot it out on the stand up's.........Great day had by all...

Also i was asked by the Gravity Games co-ordinators if i would bring the 1 TUFF RXP down for an EXHIBITION ride to get the crowed involved and show them whats coming next year.

Having such a talented group of skiers on hand i couldnt help but ask Kylie to jump on my RXP and take it for some hot laps.....

Thank you Kylie! Regards from US PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS

For those of you who dont know Kylie here is a run down:

    Ellmers, Kylie

    Sport: Jetskiing
    Home: Gisborne
Current residence: New Zealand / Australia
    Age: 32
    Height: Short
Weight: Good if I was taller
    Nickname:
Sponsors: CONCEC SECURITY, Seadoo Centre, Southern Jetski Centre, BRP Australia. Peter Stevens
    History:

    Competing since:1998
Why did you start: My Dad raced speedway, and I was taken to my first meeting at three weeks old as my mum was a lap scorer so motor sport is in my blood, however you can’t keep me out of the water so jetskiing was it.
Most memorable moment in career: October this year at the World’s Finals, coming 2nd overall in Woman’s sit down class.
Favorite trick:Beating the boys while wearing my life vest covered in flowers.
What disciplines do you compete: Both varieties of Jetskiing – Runabout (sitdown) and Ski (stand up).
What's always in your suitcase: Dry Underwear.
Favorite style of music:Most of it as I don’t really take it in, it’s all just background noise.
Coolest place you ever visited: New Zealand of course.
Favorite place to skate/ride/wake/race: Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Superstitions or Rituals before competition: I must have certain stickers on my ski and I never pee on my ski.
    Favorite Movie: The Fastest Indian.
Other Sports you have participated in growing up: Started off with BMX, was pretty good until my bike kept getting stolen. After that, I played rep soccer right through all the age groups and top club level.
What should we know about you that we don't already know: I don’t like losing much, I like to chat and lastly, If it wasn’t for the support from my partner Kevin, I would not be where I am today in Jetskiing.

Great to see this beast being thrown around the track. We all look forward to it being at the Nationals against the other beasts in Australia.

Wasn't it refreshing to see a Kylie pulling her own motor down and rebuilding their on the beach... And helping out her fellow competitor Trent with his engine rebuilds etc...

Hope somebody got some video of Kylie ridning that ski would love to see it..

Yes Kylie has the respect from all the guys. Infact it was great to see all the competitors except a few people help others out in the pits with parts etc..........Great team work .........

Special thanks goes out to Craig and Alan who gave up 3 days pay and 5 days of there time. Plus the others from the club who came down to help out. I am sure you will receive plenty of help if required when over for the Nationals in return.

The Sunday night session was a ripper with plenty of war stories and laughs washed down with a few free sponsored drinks.

Lets all hope the games are back in Perth next year with both ski classes.
