Question First time on seadoo- capsized- what next!?

    Hi Everyone!

Just got 2005 Seadoo 3D. Capsized. Within 20 sec. turned it back. Started and get to the shore within 1 min.
    Couple of questions:
    • Now there is a red light “oil” on the dash board – what do I do about it!?
    • How can I check the bilge pump is working properly – as when I got to shore it was full of water (in the bilge)!
    • At home I removed the spark plugs- it is dry so water did not make into the engine. If it did would I be able to start the engine and make it to shore!?
    Thank you for any info!

Oil light means the oil tank is under half , so just top it up ...

When the DESS key is placed on , water should start pumping but I am not sure if that model has a electric pump ....Is it a 800 3d or 951 ??? or is it white and yellow or Black and red ???

When you remove the plugs , crank the motor to see any water sprays out , if you have ??? Get it out and See a Seadoo dealer ....

    Thank you,

No water in the engine for sure!
I mean I just capsized I didn’t dive into the water - in my opinion that would be a major design fault if the water would get into the engine from a simple capsize. not to mention that i am planning to get Kawasaki SXR 800!(you spend like half of the time diving into the water!)
My model is SeaDoo 3D Premium 2005 RFI (red top and black hull) 782cc, 110 HP.
I am going to pump up the water into the bilge +insert the key and see in the bilge would engage .
I am sure this questions been answered a million time when it comes to the oil is the seedoo dealer the only place to get one!?

    Thank you!

    Thank you guys!
YOu are righg - today i pumped some water into the bilge - DESS was in - the pump kicked in!
YOuare right about the oil as well - a bit expensive though 60$ for the gallon!
Now we just have to find the patience to break in the engine properly!
    Cheers,
